Practice Objective:
The players get used to passing in certain directions and distances, using different combination patterns.

Practice Description
This passing pattern is all about "up, back and through" (lay-off and then forward pass) while incorporating spin-off movements.
  1. The practice starts with 2 balls going at the same time from opposite ends. A passes to B.
  2. Player B lays the ball back for A to run onto.
  3. Player A passes forward to C and Player B makes a spin-off movement to receive the next pass.
  4. Player C lays the ball back for B.
  5. Player B passes out wide, timed for the forward run of A.
  6. Player อ dribbles towards the left corner cone (replicating carrying the ball into midfield).
  7. Player A then makes a spin-off turn,as if the the blue (red) cone is a defender and dribbles the ball 3-4 meters in the opposite direction (towards the right corner cone).
  8. Player อagain performs a spin-off move, and now moves forward (away from defender - cone) at an angle.
  9. To complete the sequence, Player อ passes to the start position and the practice continues with the next player waiting.

Coaching Points

  1. Passing, quick interplay, carrying the ball with spin-off turns (left,right, outside, inside foot).
  2. Change the angle of attack!
  3. The weight of the 5th pass in front of Player อ is very important, so he can receive on the move without having to slow down or adjust.
