Exercise - Rondos 4 vs 2 and Speed Exercises

Objective: Quick passing under pressure to maintain possession + speed, agility and coordination.

Description
For this practice, we create 4 squares as shown.We have 4 teams, each with 4 players (2 pairs).
Two pairs (yellow and blue) start in the speed/coordination squares and perform different exercises as shown.
The rest of the players are playing in one of the two 4 V 2 Rondos (8 - 10 meters squares).
  • When a defending pair win the ball (yellow pair in diagram), they move to the outside of the Rondo.
  • The pair that lost the ball (reds in diagram) move to a speed/coordination exercise square and switch roles with the pair that are in there (who become the defenders in the Rondo).
  • The practice is continuous with the pairs switching roles. Allow rest time.
